I started tinkering with Raspberry pi bought from VK (http://www.rcelectro.com/raspberry-pi-board) great fun to work with. please share your experience with Your life with Pi

Not my experience but I have seen my brother's (primary stage) project where he used the raspberry pi coupled to LDRs to have a solar panel track the Sun. It was great to watch.

My son is presently tinkering with it, with Ultra sound module for something..(only he knows)

My experience ^ - the ~GCS is based on the raspi connected to a 7 inch LED monitor...

I got one as a gift from my brother...planning ro make an AFMA from it...only problem is the voltage not suitable for servos

Topalle you can use 3.3v to 5v converters to drive small servos or use an atmega in between. The 5v rail can be obtained from the raspi but it shouldnt be pulling a lot of current so kep a tab on the current

Raspberry Pi has better community support, is easier to use(some functions) and has analog video out. Better video performance as well.
