Title: RCI 6th Sweepstakes Entry Scratch Built Drifting Car
Post by: MavRKB on June 20, 2015, 01:49:25 AM
After watching some drifting videos by RCSparks Studio™ I wanted to give it a try but by making the whole car by myself, nothing from outside, totally scratch built. My fav car is Camaro so I wanted it to look like it (the shell of the car) but the looks are the last of the built, aren't they? I started looking for the parts that I could use in the car like the gears, springs for the shock absorbers, ball bearings, shafts, Aluminium plate for the chassis etc.
NO PART I REPEAT NO PART IS USED IN THIS BUILT WHICH IS ACTUALLY USED IN THE CARS MANUFACTURED BY BIG COMPANIES!
I got the main things which were essential for this project, Gears, shaft, Aluminium Plate, Ball bearings.

Soon I'll be uploading the pictures of the built process.
NOTE I STARTED THIS PROJECT ON MAY 26TH OF THIS YEAR AND SO FAR I HAVE MADE THE CHASSIS, THE REAR AXEL HOLDER WIHT THE MOTOR MOUNT, I DIDNT WORKED ALL THE DAYS..ONLY SOMEDAYS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS ENTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED OR NOT
