while i m waiting for my gyros  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes,i have made a 555 based solar powered vehicle as a mini project ,it runs good  Clap Clap and i have got positive comments from my guide too,  Grin Grin

panel used is 16 v, 5w

HI MATE,
HAHAHA.........verry good for you in India or similar country where it is more likely to be 'bright' if not sunny.
yeh the cells relie on a 'certain level' of light to generate electricity, as in the shade from the tree which was 'mottled' it only gave 1/2 power............ needs big open space with no shadow areas :-)
not good in UK .......one big shaddow area :-) :-)

this one is too huge
i planned  for a small 2ch rc solar car with a rechargeable battery pack being charged by the electricity from the solar panel...
it should be light....
lets see if i can get a solar panel in alld...
