this is my dream machine!!!!!!! pretty fast...i love it....i hope it is 28" plan..

i am abt to finish my tomhe SU-37.. need some input, what motor have u used and what is the capacity of the battery..i think it flew for more than 6 min...was it on single charge?  i am going to use 2218, 2500m kv motor with 6x4 prop and 2200mAh 3s....planning to maiden it this weekend...

you config looks good for that, at high throw she does beautiful aeros and some high alpha, Canards could give you some trouble, Canard is a PIA, consider reinforcing through and through

@ Ash 2218 2500KV is bit more powerful than the Power set up I had in it.

It is a 500watts motor I suppose as against the 300 watts I have. Should be able to do some amazing aeros.   :thumbsup:

But for the motor the remaining setup is the same which I had.

If this is the motor you are planning to use this would give you tough time mounting it

@Sundaram sir,
yes it is same motor.....it is actually heli motor, i reversed the shaft. after reveresing no place for locking C clip, so Can is not locked, but in pusher it doesnt matter. i just finished bulding it.....build log is http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/biofoam-rc-su-37-pusher-one-more-addition-to-my-hanger/
motor mount can be seen at above link.
i tried this motor on my 24" Eurofighter and goes unlimited vertical but eats up 2200mAh battery in 3 mins!!!!!!
what motor have u used? is it 2212, 2200 kv motor?

@Gusty sir,
i have movable canards, but currently i lock them with tape, once i had maiden i will put servo....as mentioned above, wat kind of trouble it might give? what is PIA!!!!???

thanks
Ashish

@Ashish.

Yes it is 2212 / 2200KV.

I am using a 2836/4 2685KV similar to your in my F-22 Rapter with 8mm foam. Its way too powerfull setup.

Yours is also likely to be same.

Canards on mine was fixed. But due to transportation impact and frequent hard landings, it used to get deformed there by affecting the trim often. Had to be trimmed  frequently. I was used to it so I was flying without trimming but Gusty used to feel uncomfortable.

ohh!!! i thought canards give problem while flying...... yes transporting such huge model is pretty cumbersome.....and i found rudders are very difficult to handle...

Even i think 2836 and 2218 are almost similar....lets see how mine goes.......i am also trying for movable rudders...but only after successful maiden.....
