"If it's man-made and it flies, it will crash."

Hi

I was looking in the net on how to build a gimbal and camera trigger and found this.

I need advice on building it.
Should I build it or there are easier ways to handle this?

Thanks,
Rahul

If your camera has a 3.5 mm jack (or something similar) for remote shutter release, even if wired,  I see a potential for triggering it electronically,  e.g by the rx

Nah, I meant wiring up some piece of hardware that could convert the pwm signal from the rx to something understandable by the camera for electronically triggering the shutter. Alas, this wont be an easy solution  Bang Head

Like you correctly intended, it's easier said than done. I don't have anything out of the box that can do this, but yes, it's giving me food for thought for my next effort maybe...

Regarding the possibility part, for electronic devices, everything is possible with the exception of originating organic life Wink

Rahul buy a shutter release cable for dslr from ebay for 3$
Unscrew it and take out the controllet and Trim the wire as you need..
Now get one Led strip for rc, and cut out the led part and take the circuit.. And connect the wires from the shutter release to the led strip circuit..
You are done... now connect Your new shutter release to any free channel and take photos...  Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Total cost below rs 400-500 max

You can trigger the shutter from a distance without any shake..... And also in dslr you can open the shutter for a long time... For long exposure shots..
You can even get a infrared one, i have one.. But which is for dslr's Actually...

I think most of the digital camera have it, Or there is a trigger which can be operated using the data cable port of the camera, I forgot the name but i saw that for 12$ in ebay when i was using digi cameras...
Or we can take out the top cover and get the power wires from the trigger there will be three wires Two of them must be connected to autofocus and other two for trigger.. Find them and connect them directly..

Note: Rahul do it at your own risk  Giggle
