I have been in to this hobby from 2 years.
So far have built, a 450mm-which I flown only under 5 times, 210mm GPS quad-which I have flown so may times till it crashed, 88mm-went out of service due to FC issues and a beta65 brushless whoop. Whoop is the only quad I fly regularly now.
Eachine vr006 box goggle were my primary goggle from last 1 year.
Slim goggle was a long term dream.

Chosen Fatshark as the brand, as that seems to be the most widely used and supported one.
I know HDO and now HDO2 are the best, but they are simply out of my budget + additional module cost.

Then in June this year Fatshark released their budget slim googles, Fatshark attitude v5!
The main advantage I see was, with 300 dollar you get the goggles, diversity receiver, antennas and battery case. All you need is 2 18650 cells to get going.

The model was not available to buy from any India hobby shops.
Banggood was the next option, but no IDM available. And I simply didn't want to take a chance.
So I asked my relative in US to order from getfpv.com and he brought by hand. Yes, had to wait for 3 months, before I could get hold of it.

I had never tried slim goggle before this. Because there was no one nearby who fly or have the goggle to try.
My biggest fear was, if I would see double image or the image will be out of focus for my eyes. I anyway took that risk and ordered.
Fortunately none of those were an issue. It is focusing very clear. All OSD figures are very bright to read. On eachine vr006 I had to do some mods to get it focus for my eyes and still not very clear.
So when I first put on the goggle, I was seeing double image. I had to close my eyes few times and then the double image become one image.

I tried it to fly indoor whoop. There was no breakup.
Image was very clear ,far better than eachine vr006. I think the OLED screens making the difference.
Felt the image size same as eachine vr006. Does not felt like looking through a pipe.
I have no light leakage issue. Face plate fit nice.
Tried  4:3 as well 16:9  as cameras. They both came out very well.
DVR has an option to auto record and auto stop on goggle power on or off.

Negatives,
Foam could have been little more thicker.
Face plate felt little tight above the nose area.
DVR sucks. Comes out 4:3 always The image quality is crap.
Head strap could have been little more wider.
Connecting the pseudo balance lead each time to power the fan is an inconvenience.
It is bit difficult to insert or remove the SD card. And you have to remove the SD card to copy the recording to computer.

Part two of the video coming soon.
