APM supports v-tail. No need for any mixing. And if you don't want apm on v-tail. You can just fly it in elevator, rudder and add on a external v-tail.

What is an external vtail ? I've attached a picture of my frame too for your reference, will I be able to directly hook up an apm 2.6 to it without mixing?

You can just directly hook up the APM and enable v-tail. Just Google on it. And by external vtail i meant a external v-tail mixer available for a dollar our two.
Edit- no mixing required on radio.

Follow this link to set it up. Don't put on any v-tail mixing on radio or external.
