anyone has recently uploaded a firmware for quadcopter on multiwii cirus v2.5???

Are you trying to upload multiwii 2.4 on the board

i havent used multiwii for a year now and it seems i have forgot how to upload a firmware its easy i know but due to updated system am having issue such as avrdude sync fail and all stuff have u uploaded a firmware to multiwii ?? is it getting updated ? can you tell me your pc specs? windows??

Me also have done that approx 3 months back.

My system configuration is windows 8 .

It easy to do the upgrade.You just need the FTDI connector. Connect a ftdi connector to your board.

Then open multiwii firmware downloaded from the site,unzip the same and open it in arduino software.

Then select board as Duemilinove with ATmega 328p, then select port no.

Hit the config.h tabs, do your changes ,verify it and then upload.done.

Note :-multiwii 2.4 is not compatible with your board because of the space constrains on it.

Actually I have updated to windows 10 and last time I uploaded a firmware was windows 7 I knw the procedure bt am getting avrdude sync error

Then I think you don't have the ftdi drivers properly installed.

First check that whether the device manager detects the ftdi or not.

If it doesn't detect then do the installation first.

Also note that if your ftdi has Prolific 2303HXA then you are in  a big problem.As the support for these chips have been discontinued & still there are many such chips available in the market.But some how I was been able to install the drivers for the same in my system by rolling back the drivers.

well i have downloaded the right drivers i suppose and it is detected as comport

Sir is there any specific step of uploading firmware that you are stuck up with?

all steps are done and i have selected atmega328p everythng works bt at the end of upload it shows uploading comeplete and below it is a error
                     avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00


well multiwii connects therefter to the gui interface but i cannot see any movements of the fc refected on the gui and all values are zero

Try erasing the epprom first and then upload the code.

Also let me know that are u able to see data light on ftdi blinking while uploading the sketch or not.

yes i can see the data light and confirmed that everythng is wrking as i have 2 multiwii and both are giving the same response earlier bth were functional also i tried uploading with uno and mega2560 well seems to be a prb of ardiuno drivers lets see  thankx for your help
