Av to Usb for FPV
Tweet
I'm adding FPV to my tri but the only problem I'm facing is that I want to take photograph as well as recording a video simultaneously using the camera-
Boscam TR1:
http://www.quadkopters.com/product/fpv-kit-and-accessories/boscam-tr1-camera-along-with-5-8ghz-200mw-transmitter/
Receiver-
Boscam RC 805 5.8 GHz AV Receiver
http://www.quadkopters.com/product/fpv-kit-and-accessories/boscam-rc-805-5-8g-av-receiver-rx/
So I can capture the photograph using a servo shutter, watch the video as well as save it by by using 3
AV splitters 3 going into the LCD Screen while the other 3 into the DVR.
But I have to save some money :Rs :so I've been thing to use an AV to USB DVR. So, I am confused if
necessarily a USB DVR like this
http://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=181599833373
has to be used
or can I Just use this one-
http://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=321627406201
and convert the male AV connectors w/ this-
http://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=201248713026
to
save it in my Nexus 7 using an OTG cable.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
And one more thing can I just directly see the video on my Nexus 7 without spending money to buy an LCD screen and 3 splitters. Using the DVR.

Re: Av to Usb for FPV
Well, these RCA to USB cables are not supported by android, but you can use it on a microsoft device - so you can't use your Nexus as FPV screen, but if you have a microsoft windows device, you can use this
http://m.ebay.in/itm?itemId=181599833373
to connect video out put from your receiver to the laptop or tab or phone (windows) and also it can be used as FPV screen and for capturing stills simultaneously

Re: Av to Usb for FPV
The second option wont help you in recording videos,
The first option is used by many people, If you are using a windows device, then there is no need of a AV splitter, as the FPV screen is you laptop or tablet itself

Thanks a load!
And one more question I don't think we can watch a video in Windows while it is being edited.

Re: Av to Usb for FPV
Why do you have to edit a video while watching
If you want stills from video, there is shortcuts for that
