Title: HELP, APM 2.6, No mavlink ???

I have a APM 2.6 suddenly it stopped connecting to computer, any can help me with this.
Computer detects the device, but when connecting via Mission Planner it says no heatbeat recieved?
Any1 knows what may be the problem.?

are you using usb or connecting wireless ?

Well you have to eliminate possibilities one by one,

Begin with trying to connect via terminal or try to upload firmware (probably plane or rover then revert back to quad or whatever you were using),
changing the usb cable,usb port,
Updating MP,
Try it on a different PC.

you can try on a different pc.
the problem is you cannot update firmware if
you cannot connect mavlink

alternative is to  download the arduino ide and flash new firmware,

I had faced similar issue where I can update the firmware/ connect via terminal but cant connect to MP (Still have that FC with me). Eventually in terminal I was able to see that my gyro wasnt initializing, so it was an issue with the APM 2.6 sensor.

Nothing working... Tried different PC everything... Getting a new one.
Can any1 tell me hpw to set launch position as home position always on APM

Arducopter sets home position when it arms, thats why it is necessary to let it get a gps hdop of 2> before arming after powerup.
