Post by: AL HAM SHARI on November 03, 2017, 12:33:37 AM
Hello, I have an APM 2.8 (2.6 clone), accidentally i broke it's usb. When I tried to resolder it, and when I connected to my pc, it shows not recognized. It's working fine. Can anyone tell me an alternative to usb. I have a Telemetry but when I tried to upload firmware, it shows can't upload. Please help!

A damn pic would show if anything else is broken as well. Please post a pic, at least after you've soldered it ;D

apm is basically atmega 2560

findout where the isp headers are and use an avr programmer to flash
the firmware using arduino interface

or flash direct using avrdude ( which the arduino interface also uses)

It's a portraited photo! Nothing that's necessary is visible. Man, you're so great!

As @saikat sir has already mentioned, upload it via the headers.

Also check if you have done any damage by soldering it. Most probable is a short ;D

Is that solder pads is good? I recommend you to join microsoldering group in facebook. Group members of that group will help you in this.
