What you are planning to do is very heavy both ON your pocket and equipment

I never did somthing like that but I do know what you CAN do .....

You need these eq for aur

1 a long range lrs system.....  dragon link or any similar product
2 you should go with a 1.2 ghz FPV tx and rx ...... with a high gain receiver antenna ...which you CAN buy from bluestoneairline.  Manufacturer is VAS(video arial systems)...they are the best ....  a 1000mw tx will suffice I think

3 a GOOD flight controller with return to HOME function (you don't want that dig of an investment fly away by itself)

4 noise reduction is must ....  you have to block or ruduce any noise source ON your model which is going to affect you lrs receiver ....

5 you have to make sure that your model will sustain that long flight .....wind conditions are going to play a big role in this ...

All the things you need will be available to you locally
Except the receivers which you have to import from usa only

its a big tas. ...but don't stop
....keep us informed ON your progress ....
Best of luck ...

Tintin i'll suggest you to keep your model in LOS only.Because it can cause threat to others.
And if you really want to go far away then go to nearly remote area and get used to fly there.(as we go 15Km away from city)
Aerial view is always different from ground view.
As MKARTIKGANDHI said use a best FC with OSD like EagleVector or APM which can take you home back.
Enjoy flying...

Well..... Tintin.... your project might work and may also be on the wrong side of the law when you attempt this flight.  If you are going that far you will need to be at least 1000 feet above the ground.  I am sire that any model flying over 300 feet above the ground is a threat to low flying airplanes.  That could be because of the proximity to an airport or some military flying closer to ground.  Military flying is often undertaken in open spaces at heights below 300 feet above ground in specified areas.  These low flying areas as they call it are specified and if your model is reported that may be bad news for you.

What is the reason why you want to do this.  I am sure just the hobby is not the only reason.

Treat this just a a hobby and be on the right side of the law.....

Hey TIN TIN if you want to built a LOOOOONG RANGE SYSTEM EVEN CAPABLE FOR MORE THAN 30-35KMS....you will HAVE TO BURN HOLES IN YOUR POCKETS

(For RADIO EQUIPMENT)
EzUHF 8 CHANNEL DIVERSITY Rx with SEMI RIGID DI-POLE ANTENNAS by IBCrazy(VAS)::7500(Rx) + 2000(2x Antennas)
EzUHF JR MODULE Tx with TARANIS X9D PLUS :: 7000(JR MODULE) + 18000(TARANIS)
IBCrazy MOXON ANTENNA ON EzUHF Tx :: 3500

(FOR VIDEO EQUIPMENT)
Team-Blacksheep 2.4G 800mW video Tx :: 7000
Team-Blacksheep 2.4G TUNED Rx :: 10500
IBCrazy(VAS) CROSS HAIR 2.4G DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA :: 4200
MyFlyDream Antenna Tracker :: 26000
FPV SCREEN DEPENDS ON U...OF FPV GOOGLES...I HAVE HEADPLAY HD :: 25000

(Aircraft Electronics)
MyFlyDream Auto-Pilot :: 18000
EzOSD :: 11000 for monitoring the digital RSSI & LINK QUALITY on the screen so that so get to know when to turn back even if you dont turn back the MFD Auto-Pilot will kick into RETURN TO HOME (RTH) & will keep CIRCLING at the HOME LOCATION
LOOONG RANGE PLANE :: SKYWALKER :: 18K OR MyTwinDream :: 20k
AXi MOTOR :: 6000 + JETI ECO 40 ESC :: 3500
10,000mAh LIPO :: 8000

I have confirmed with IBCrazy that if I have EzUHF RX with SEMI-RIGID DI-POLE &  a MOXON on Tx whats the range expected for this system & also for video i have aske for the same
IBCrazy 2.4G CROSS-HAIR directional antenna is mounted on MyFlyDream antenna tracker with Team-Blacksheep 2.4G TUNED Rx & a Team-Blacksheep 2.4G video Tx of 800mw ..whats the video range expected...Huh?
IBCrazy(VAS) replied that with the above system for RADIO RANGE WOULD BE 45kms & for video around 40kms.... Bow Bow
 Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

@MKARTIKGANDHI
As said in the post it depends on the Tx & Rx -- the Rx should be 8channel diversity with 2 x semi rigid dipole antennas from iBCrazy & on the Tx side the antenna should be MOXON again from IBCrzy MOXON is basically a 2-element YAGI ANTENNA & you know the power of YAGI antenna....
