Title: NEED HELP WITH APM 2.6

Friends Resently I brought an apm 2.6. ...I can successfully upload the firmware tho the board through mission planner. ....but after that it wont connect to the mp  ..it says no heartbeat packets received
Help me guys...... :headscratch:

If you connecting using USB cable check what COM port you selected and also select baud rate as 115200. All these are available near the connect icon in mission planner!

I have done that...in my pc its com port 3 and its shows the board but wot connect

Is the baud rate proper ? Like the one one I mentioned earlier

Yes baud rate is  all right .....while googling sme 1 says it may be due to the inbuilt 3.3 v regulator...it may broken.......anyone  have any idea......pls..

In that case find the 3.3v reg on board and check with a multimeter whether 3.3v reg is working or not.

Or press the reset button on the board and upload the firmware again

if your APM is a clone, try lowering the firmware version.

I had faced the same problem with a clone that i had bought, for some reason the board was incompatible with higher version of the firmware. Try downgrading 2 or 3 steps.
