Torque - expressed as Kg-cm. eg a 3 Kg-cm torque means that with a servo wheel of 1 cm (radius) the force (pull or push) exerted will be up to 3 Kgf 2. Speed - usually expressed as time taken to traverse 60 deg. rotation. A lower speed means a faster servo This is besides the weight/dimensions Servo selection involves basically a selection of suitable torque - depends on control surface area, speed and weight of the model. Sorry, no easy formula to calculate Speed selection depends on type of model/flying. got one hs311 from sumeetinstruments.com can say they are authentic , cost me around 1000.00rs including tax IMHO the best all-round budget servo is the HiTec HS 311.
