Title: servo replacement??

I'm a newbie to the rcworld.What i want want ask was that i have an futaba remote control which we got during a airplane building project in our college.Now i want to use this rc to vary voltage in a circuit or as a on/off switch by replacing servos.Is this possible? If yes how?
please help! :'(

For an on off switch, you can go for something off-the-shelf, like this :

There are lots of choices for DIY (and I am not the right person to list them).  You can basically devise circuits to use the PWM signals to do anything you want.  Many ways, using AVR/PIC/Arduino type stuff, possible even simpler.  Our member Sahilkit seems to have dabbled with this before...
