Noooooooooo !

3s (12v) is too much voltage for the receiver and servos.  It is the (BEC inside the) ESC that brings it down to the 5v range (or 6v), which is safe for these.

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

So,

ESC makes 5 volt supply from 3s or higher voltage LiPO and feeds to receiver and then servo through receiver ? Then the receiver bat three pin may be kept open  or can be feed with separate (Standby?) supply with 4s NiMH?

Am I right? Perhaps a silly question.

Yes, any testing can always be done with a separate receiver battery of right voltage.  If you want throttle control in the ESC but want to use a separate receiver battery, then take out the middle pin from the ESC connection (use a servo extension instead of damaging the connector from the ESC).

I talked to Sadnam just in time  Head Scratching

I have kept away the 4.8v Sanyo Rx Battery I got with my Radio along with Servo Tester for all calibration/test purpose.
Use of BEC along with 2S lipos are good option to NiMH but there is always a chance of over discharging the LiPo below 6 volts before you actually face Rx Brown/Black outs
