Cheapest should not be less than 3-5 Lacks.
But mind you, getting anything lesser than 40Watt CO2 laser would be a great handicap. You cannot cut thicker balsa (6mm), even thinner one would have significant charring, and cutting Lite ply would become impossible. My take would be a 100Watt laser if you have other commercial roadmap.

HI All,
It is better cut balsa on cnc router than burning with cnc laser.I built ultra low cost cnc routers.I have posted many photos on this forum.Here are some recently built machine.

my Startup is working on easy to use CNC routers with easy to use software and its low cost too. cutting size around 500x500 to 1000x1000 mm(easy to expand)

CNC machines are versatile machines. Remove the Router and attach any thing such as Laser.It is Laser cutter,Attache Extruder and It is a 3D Printer.You Can cut Balsa wood with Router.You can cut Styrofoam with router or by attaching a soldering iron fitted with a needle.You can use the machine in many ways.Imagination is the only limit.
