Mugen Seiki Rules

Is anyone using Cordless Hex Driver? Want one to work on the Baja, too many hexes and some of them are very long. Cordless one will help to reduce work time and ease your hands. Less torque prefered. I just want to use the regular hex drivers bit on the cordless one, is that possible?

My brother uses this Bosch IXO (and I tend to use the same at the field quite a bit).

It is a great little helper, and the biggest advantage seems to be that it can retain charge over long periods of inactivity !

Yes, Anwar, I checked this model and also the GSR Prodrive, but needs to know how to use our regular handle hex driver with this?

That makes it clear what you are looking for. The head of these bits sure look like the standard size that goes into these drivers.  So now it is just a question of ordering them ?

How about the availability of IXO etc locally ?

GSR ProDrive is in India. Not sure about IXO. Should be, Chennai has a well stocked power tools market. Makita, B&D, Bosch, Dewalt, Hitachi are all in the country. Rotor has Dremel and Bosch, need to check it out.

Got the Bosch ProDrive for Rs 3200. Loving it. Enough torque for my cars. Can drill wood also, I think.

I was out in the market for a good power tool, preferably cordless. Could you share youe Bosch ProDrive experience ? Does it come with all types of bits ? Also possible to drill using this ?

The GSR is a great tool. I cannot live without it anymore. Was VERY VERY helpful with my Baja build where I have many very long screws. It doesnt come with any hex bits, I got a RC grade one separately from OFNA pictured above.

It comes with some philips bits and also one drill bit. It can be used for drilling wood as well. Battery backup is very good now.
