when I am sober my heli is drunk..

Hello Members,
Well I had a query and I thought the bbest thing to do was to put it up in a post!

here goes,
I am planning of building EDF's whose plans indicate that I should use Depron, 3mm and 6mm sheets.
but there is a hitch! I am not finding depron here in Kuwait, instead I found something called foam board,
its particularly a white hard sheet on both sides with foam sandwiched in between and believe me its very light, maybe lighter then depron.
Not all glues tend to stick this material together, because I tried an adhesive similar to fevibond(it smelled the same)
and it melted the foam inside! Bang Head
I found a glue that will not melt the foam board!

Now I need suggestions from everyone, forum veterans, senior members newb's, everyone in particular to help me out with your suggestions before I start cutting my plans onto them!
What do you think?
is it suitable or no?

Its depron. Also called sturdy board, its sold in stationery and craft stores. Yes, can surely be used for at least profile planes.

you sure Tg?
I tried putting a few drops of water on the board and they got soaked into the paper covering creating blowholes on the paper!
do you think I can use this and cover it with super thin wrapping tape?

A few pictures would help. The ones I've seen and used had a thicker sheet of paper that won't easily peel off. You can actually skin the foam if the paper peels off without warping it. Or simply avoid wetting the surface.
