Lot of people are building coro planes starting from plans which would work for (or were designed for) foam.

Absolutely.  Remember that the only trick in getting these things to fly is to have a good enough power system.  Depending on what AUW you end up with, you may need to adjust the power system (motor, ESC, prop and battery).

It is common for people to scale the plans up or down, or substitute materials, as long as they pick the right power plant for the same.

One other thing to note is that the need for reinforcement will change depending on the size and material.  In some cases, you will be forced to do additional reinforcements, in other cases you can remove existing reinforcements.  It is the experimentation with all this that makes building using local materials so interesting.

The builder should be an experienced person rite?

Not really, we have seen pretty amazing stuff come out of beginners.  It is all about patience and imagination, it seems.  I am not at all qualified to put marks on scratch builds, this is more of an opinion from a silent spectator to the efforts of many talented folks here :)

Watch out for the weight difference, and plan the power system accordingly.

in future i am going make lot of foamies. for now i am getting mr moss but i think its specs are too small. i am basically getting it for experience and radio. i will make like nutball, mikes fpv, blue dart etc.

so what parts should i get as a standerd slow fliers.which motor battery prop esc.i will be having parts from moss so consider that.
