You can cut it yourself. Hammer two nails on a flat surface and tie a thin steel or nichrome wire half an inch above the surface. Heat the wire by passing a low voltage current and slide the sheet below the wire. You should end up with a half inch thick sheet.

It depends on length and thickness of the wire. For say 2feet cutting length with a 28 swg or 24 swg wire will be good at 18-22volts @ 1.5+ amps (get yourself a low cost variable psu 30v/3amps)

@digitalgowda,
If you have a hot wire foam cutting bow like this:

http://www.rcindia.org/self-designed-diy-and-college-projects/5th-sweepstakes-entry-diy-lipo-powered-hot-wire-cutter-k-k-iyer/ (http://www.rcindia.org/self-designed-diy-and-college-projects/5th-sweepstakes-entry-diy-lipo-powered-hot-wire-cutter-k-k-iyer/)

You can slice the thermocol like this:

But you'll need a helper like RC Aunt!

Much easier and simpler to just buy a thinner sheet from the stationery shop!
