Hey,
managed to convince my physics lab teacher to order parts for my hot wire cutter and he did so.
I got the parts and they are all correct just help me wire the transformer.
P.S i got 100gms. Of nicrome for 80rs. Just bcause of student concession  Grin Grin

The only help i need i wiring dig. From you guys. The transformer has 3 ouput leads? Why?

Prabal,

I've attached the circuit diagram.

You only need to use two out of the three leads of the transformer. Either left and center or right and center (as shown in diagram).

Those are called alligator clips and can be bought at any electronics store. You can also get a lot of nichrome from a 'heater coil' and it costs only  Indian Rupees 20.

u need also template of ribs.

main flaw is of length of wing. some body told that u can carve 4 ft wing in one go

however, looking for video. further share ur experience also

A great place to find Nichrome is from fishing leaders. They are the wire leads they use in deep sea fishing. It goes between the hook and a swivel further up the line. It's used to stop big fish from cutting the line.

I purchased just one of them and it has enough Nichrome to build 5 cutters. Mine has been under tension and used for 5 years and it's still as good as new.

i finished the wiring but because s.a 1's are going on i can do nothing.
on 24th: i will order parts for a avispad. going for a bush type plane.(preffered livery below)
after that i am planning to make a hd thermocol plane.(for source of extremely high density thermocol free; contact me!)
for that plane i will cut a clark-y airfoil!
