one shop in lamington road stock thin single strand silicon wire (blue color) that can be used as jumper wire in electronics. Usually the battery main discharge leads are silicone wires. (check your battery) ... They are preferred because of their high tolerance to heat and flexiblibility.
These wires come in various gauges starting from 32AWG to 8AWG, available at HK. Even better but much stiffer. Teflon is surely much better, as they are resistant to fire, but quite stiffer. Also, the ID is usually small, hence not recommended for high current flow. this is the link for a shop called chip components, keep walking towards the main road and you should have no problem in finding the shop ( on the left )......I think it is the fourth last shop from the corner.... hope this helps..... I think this is the best. you have seen the single stranded wire and hence the stiff one. But damn costly, 1m wire :Rs: 60 or more.
