Araldite have introduced a new adhesive called TUFFIX. It is polyurethane based and gap filling to a phenomenal degree. Sets in 20-30 minutes.
Its really good. Available in several size bottles.

Don't think so. Titebond seems to be a PVA glue. It's  Indian Rupees 45 for a 50 gm. bottle and gets progressively cheaper with larger sizes.  But I feel it's shelf life will not be too much, once opened.

Sunderam, will send pics.asap.

Sushil sir,
is that the same product in a 'Rin' blue color bottle of shape of standard CA container ?
Are you sure that the fluffy/Foamy substrate after curing is better than old trusted Fevicol-Sawdust gel we have been using so successfully. A stress test from your experienced side would be really valuable.

Poly urethane foam is same foam which is found sandwitched in plastic ice boxes.

I think this will work great where lots and lots of filling is required.

Great Product.

I bought this a couple a month ago for Indian Rupees 40 but never used it. A good time to do some bench test.
Nice find Sushil sir!!

One request on the same line. i have heard that Ammonia solution is good absorbent to tender Balsa/Ply before bending. I tried many tiles/utensil cleaning liquid bottles, but none composition  listed ammonia. Any lead how to prepare ammonia solution at home ? I know its kind of poisonous and old cold storage/ice factories used to run on them as freezing liquid poisonous

Ujju,
While ammonia solution works really good (have only heard never used it) in my view unless you are really trying to  roll either a very thick balsa sheet or trying to form a tight roll on thinner ones, ammonia is really not required. Water (hot if tighter curvature) works wonder on balsa for most of the curvatures encountered on a model aircraft. Have never had to bend ply so do not know about that
I guess some of the windshield wipers or glass cleaners do contain ammonia, since these do not list ingredients best way is the sniff test.

Human mind is like a parachute, works when open

hi,

using this glue for the past 3-4 months, its a new glue from araldite. not available in all stores.

have used this extensively on biofoam and plywood.

excellent bonding and gap filling characteristic.

you have to use it mildy. too much and it foams up the entire area.

basically a good adhesive for biofoam and a gap filler for wood.

I would consider it both, a good adhesive and a gap filler, for wood.
