       i think most of the beginners though they can build the fuse of a model but have hard time in bulding the wing and aleron joints so for the sake of the beginers seniours pls do share ur building techniques with all

actually building from a kit is very easy as long as the wing is compleated..... because there is no big alignment in it required. it will align itself as you put the piece in place (like putting the spar in the ribs keeping it on the plan so that you get the perfect location )

the real problems start when you have to assemble the fuse as you have to keep it aligned and paste which is the most difficult part in the assembly. little bend in the fuse while sticking the formers is a pain while flying and you cant guess the error easily....

have you brought a balsa kit or plan to build your own....

i am building my Avispad, i too had problem in building coro wing when we try to glue it i needs practice. else we wont get proper airfoil. hence i made my wing in bit crude way by stapleing, but the wing i got with smooth airfoil. I'll post pics soon.

I have used big staples to build wings. The problem is in few days the pins rip through the coro. What i used to do is placed small piece of cloth soaked in epoxy where the staple is to be made, then staple through the cloth. The best wings i made were made using staple only. Unfortunately i don't have my big stapler now.

I dont have much building experience. I have built a blubaby under-cambered wing version and a delta flying wing. I was not able to build a 100% 4-40 undercambered wing at home but i think i was able to make a better flat bottom depron wing with folding a depron over a spar.

SLS which epoxy u used? is it to be pasted both sides?

i used bondtite but i don't think would make any difference if you use some other.

the cloth should be pasted in both top n bottom side of the wing?

just take a small piece, fold it over the edge such the the join is sandwiched between and staple through. BTW i got this idea from a guy on rcgroups who makes spad, and uses little plastic strips cut out from shampoo bottle, folds the strip over the join and staples through them. 

ailerons are attached to the wing..how can i do tat now? Any other way?

Have experimented with a lot of materials and have built coro wings with different techniques. today i can build the wing from coro with a flat bottom, semi-symetric or fully symmetric.

hi have used spars from 3mm ply, 3mm foamboard, 5 and 8mm coro, 6mm liping wood for 46 size trainers. and now a new material which is available commercially but is my secret.

Have you used HD thermocols / SunBoard / Aluminium Channels as spacers/spars inside wing ?
