To all my friends "HAPPY LANDINGS"....

  Hi Guys,
While speaking to Sai, he informed me about this blog and inspired me to share my info with you all on this site.... So here it goes..
Please can SAI insert the site he was saying we can download tled plans on shockies and print on A4, tape them together and trace them on DEPRON.

 http://www.iroquois.free-online.co.uk/shockdev.htm     SHOCK FLYER DEVELOPMENT.

 INDOOR FLYERS…… Yak 54 HOME MADE SHOCK FLYER IN ACTION;

  Worth visiting these sites and seeing the images on the indoor meet; http://www.kestrelsmfc.co.uk/indoor.htm

They are cheap and cheerful and every model flyer in England has got 3 or 4 of them. Its the only way we can get some flying in Winter months.

Once you have one, u can buy depron sheet and cut it out and make as many as you like or keep shifting your motor and other stuff from old to new one as long as you keep all the carbon spars and struts.

 http://www.iroquois.free-online.co.uk/shock.htm
Link for a write up on shock flyer by Ikarus. They have used GWS geared twin motors to power this..

If you like 3 D flying,

 The beauty is you can fly them in a room............ Watch the videos;

  The slowest and easiest to fly is A PICO STICK slow park flyer that flies at a walking pace, ideal for beginners. ;  http://www.iroquois.free-online.co.uk/pstick.htm

The Sturdier version of this is a GWS  SLOW STICK;

Sai, Rishi and others sell them.
Watch the videos …

Depron® Insulation SheetsDepron is one of the markets most efficient insulation materials.  The sheet gives the same insulation as 24mm thick pine, 100mm brick wall or 360mm of standard concrete - in just 3 millimetres!  A feature that makes it perfect as an insulation material on a floor.

What is Depron®
Depron board is an extremely thin insulation sheet manufactured from fully recycled material, free from freon and halogen.  The sheet is produced from foamed polystyrene, a material that does not age. The cell structure in the sheet is built up of fine, closed cells that give it its excellent physical and mechanical characteristics.

CUTTING DEPRON; http://www.rcindia.org/tools-materials-and-building-techniques/techiques-for-making-clean-cuts-in-foam/

Adhesive   Water based adhesive without solvent

In India Sandeep says  “ Bond tite for my field work repairing, since it is easily available and give quick bond even on depron or thermocol, I found no issue in damaging of my  material till date. yes when used in heavy quantity in any surface i feel little warm, but no damage to my model.”
Sai suggests ; Epoxy:  Araldite ,  Fevitite rapid   , Bond tite

CA Glue: Feviquick, Anabond, EVO

Canopy Glue: Fevicol
