The reason why I didn't post it in the main sticky thread is because that thread is not organised enough so Mods please don't merge it. Fibre Tape: You get Fibre tape in this place for 290/- per roll of 50mtr x 48mm Don't forget to take a sample with you (for the sample you can get fibre tape sheet from any sports shop), you can try in other shops in the same street for a cheaper price but I didn't have enough time to do that. Carbon Fibre Rods, tubes, sheets, etc.: I am pretty confident you can get all this from this street if you search enough with a sample. If any LHS in Chennai like VibrantHobbies or RCSportz takes some initiative I am sure we can get cheap depron sheets. Or there is another source of depron sheets in Chennai. I have personally bought depron from these guys. They only sell double side paper laminated depron sheets. There are two subhashree stationeries, one is is in Purusalvakam and the other in Triplicane. I am new to this hobby and have been looking to buy building materials in Chennai. Thanks to this thread, I was able to look at the right places. Just wanted to add to the list, a few more shops and prices of the goods. I was not able to find depron sheets, but as Nitesh mentioned, Subha shree stationery usually stocks up the Biofoam Alphaboard produced by Biopac India. http://www.biopacindia.com/products/foam-boards.aspx They are out of stock at the moment, but the proprietor mentioned that they would restock in a few weeks. The attached image contains contact information of dealers selling foam boards at Parrys corner, Chennai. Foam sheet: 3mm, 8' x 4' - Rs 500 Foam sheet: 5mm, 8' x 4' - Rs 900 Corrugated plastic/ Sunpack sheet: 3mm, 6' x 4' - Rs 150 Moon paper mart sells smaller quantities of the foam boards for a slightly higher price per sq. ft.
