Such CNC (Computer Numerical Control) router machines cost some 90000-150000 INR to build. I have the plans for one. But no funds  Sad

They have a shop on eBay which does not list this product but has some other useful products too like hot wire cutters.

1. First of all, you'll need a cutter/engraver. It can be a drill machine and/or a laser diode module and/or a plunge router, as per requirements.
2. Then you'll need a controller board for the CNC machine. You can make one if you are proficient in microcontrollers. 32-bit ARM microcontrollers will be more powerful and will give more precision than the general 8-bit ones.
3. Motors will be needed to move the cutter in n around the workspace. Stepper motors preferred.
4. A CNC controller software. You can download an open source one. There are many such available or make one yourself as per requirements.
5. Peripherals such as power supply, circuitry, servos, motor belts etc.
6. A platform to place these things together.
7. And of course a PC to control everything.   Giggle

To make the design, you can use AutoCAD. Most CNC controller softwares can use AutoCAD files to take the design.

Apart from what has been shown in the video, you can even make designer furniture, your own EPO laser cut plane, quadcopter frame and what not!!  Thumbs Up

@ecncshop Do you cut pvc foamboard? The laser people here do not cut as they claim the fumes damage the laser.

We can cut PCV foamboard & coro-plast etc. materials in CNC router/mill.
In that process there is no worry about fumes.
Quality will be as good, as very high rpms are used when cutting, which gives good finish.
