Title: What material is used on the FTversa wing?
Post by: joelrebello on October 28, 2013, 02:56:33 PM
Hey :)

I plan to build an FTversa Wing, based on the design here - http://flitetest.com/articles/ft-versa-wing

Can someone help me identify the foam material, it doesn't look like Sunboard or Depron or Corosheet,
any thoughts on what material it is and if its possible to source in Mumbai.

Thanks!

most of the ft planes are made out of dollar tree foam board which is depron covered with paper from both the sides.
not sure of this model

all ft models are made with Adams readyboard. you can make it with laminated depron or biofoam too.

Sent from a potato using a lamp - now mashed

Looking around in the forum, my sources in Mumbai for depron or biopac sheets are in AR street or Dadar.
Thank you for your replies!
