hi!
my friend requires 50 rare earth magnets, urgently. He requires them for a MAG-LEV project.
willing to pay upto Rs 100/- for 10.

Hmm maglev with neodymium magnets, dont you need liquid nitrogen for that? Also neodymium magnets wont come so cheap for 10 pieces  in a place i know which sells them it costs 500. Any way aniket ask your friend what load he wants the magnets to levitate, buying less powerful magnets and the if they cant lift the load then your money will go wasted, also knowing the load i think you can decide to buy smaller magnets so less cost Wink

@neil, he requires those small square shaped fellows available at HK. more than load, he is looking at distance between the magnets. there are 3 strips of magnets, where the outside strips repel, and the center strip attracts. we tested this system with 10 magnets which i had, and it worked. i was hoping someone might have bought a lot from HK earlier, cause they are available there for around 100/- for 10.

One can easily get them here in Delhi for about Rs 8 per piece for a MOQ of 100 pieces. For lower quantities it's mostly Rs 10/piece.

1. Lajpat Rai Market, Chandni Chowk

2. Meena Bazaar, near Jama Masjid

Try contacting a friend in Delhi to get the magnets for you!  Smiley

just search ebay, it will list a bunch of them with different sizes. I got it from ebay for wing mounting purpose.
