This looks like a good model not sure about 4 channels as it looks like a 2 channel from the pics on the site, I would recommend that you go to a shop and look for this model in person before you decide. Also you will not be able to fly this model outdoors as the size of the heli is small.

Crashing is a part of this hobby unless you crash you won't learn how to rebuild and build better and more stable everytime and yes that will be a good deal as the spares are also available at very low cost from the same site.

I say go for this deal.

Just so that there is no confusion , the RC Bazaar RTF is a 6 ch ccpm model (not fixed pitch 4ch). I am sure botrh Gaurav and Dinesh will need a lot of help setting this one up. Like Hellyflyer says - spares are cheap and plenty!
I plan to maiden mine coming weekend. Grin

So its better to go for a 4 ch rather than 6 ch???
Please let us know where can we find a 4 ch within the mentioned budget.
I am also considering a 3 ch one if i dont find a 4 ch model in low budget.

Hi Dinesh,

Yes a 4 channel is eaiser to fly as it's less twitchy as compared to a 6 channel one. Go for a 3 or 3.5 channel coax heli in the budget mentioned in the link heading (3.5k) just check out the deals in near by stores or search this forum for some good deals as well.

Without meaning to confuse the issue, I would suggest a Walkera 4#6s from Hobbyking at $72 plus shipping if you are looking at a budget under Rs.5000.00. Great 4 channel RTF with nothing to buy. Ideal for a learner with no RC experience. Again spares are asy to come by from HK. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__12148__4_6S_Walkera_Micro_Brushless_Version_w_2_4GHz_2402_Transmitter.html
RCBazaar's 450 can be the next step after a lot of Sim time.
By the way Gaurav, the RCB 450 is a TRex clone.
Ofcourse, I am a beginner myself in helis and my advice needs to be vetted by a veteran.

it is all about personal preference, mode 1 stands for Throttle on the right stick and cyclic controls on the left and mode 2 is just the opposite.

Mode 2 is more popular than mode 1

Also to answer your earlier question

Sorry but spares are not available with me although you won't need them at all as this is a very tough heli.

Very helpful. Offered me great advice Smiley
He takes his RC hobby quite seriously ! Bravo !
Advised me to start with a basic 3.5 channel Heli instead , as i have no Heli experience whatsoever Tongue !

In first link
though 2.4GHz written and in Tx pic,
     and 2.4GHz anteena shown,
but
why IRcontrol written in detailed description,
I dont know.

The item 2 is flooded in indian market and
you will find it much less to

Thanks

 Hi goldee1984,
You should have started a new thread , as even I'm asking for advice in this thread !!

Anyway, if you have flown a 3ch Heli , you may progress onto a 4ch Single Rotor Fixed Pitch Heli , like the one offered by HellyFlyer >
http://www.rcindia.org/deals-and-special-offers/for-sale!!-gt-5889-4ch-fp-2-4ghz-heli's/

Last I know he was offering it for Rs 5950/- please confirm.

But before you fly that , you need to practice on Simulator with a Transmitter (which has a sim port) or Buy dummy Simulator Tx. As the veterans advice Salute

This is my opinion , I'm also a beginner.

Please note shipping from abroad requires luck with customs since it caries a radio Smiley

Hi guys,
I am really keen on buying the Nine Eagles Solo Pro 260A V2 Drool Is this a good deal ? ($70 with shipping)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NE260L-RTF-260A-SOLO-PRO-Nine-Eagles-4CH-Mini-Heli-red-/180624095194?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a0e08f7da#ht_3566wt_1346

The seller is shipping via Hong Kong Air Mail , I guess its unregistered , so I guess it wont attract customs ...?

Should I order spare blades , battery , charger along with it ? as it doesn't come with any !! Its battery is charged with remote Sad

Thanks

hi to all RC fans. I m a newbee for RC. I m interested in RC helis. I have read article on this site about dfferent terms & topics for bigginers. is it good to start with any 4 channel fixed pitch heli if in future i want to upgrade for 6 ch helis?  and how much easy is to start with this 4 ch heli. before this i have tried a 3 channel toy heli.
According to HeliPal.com
The path for RC Heli usually goes like this:

3 channel Co-Axial Heli Toy (e.g. Swift, JXD) >
 4 channel Co-Axial Heli (Lama 100D02, Lama 400) >
4 channel fixed pitch single rotor heli (CB180 Series, V120 Series, UFLYS) >
6 channel Collective Pitch outdoor heli (Creata 400, 60B, Storm 450)
You may have a look at CB180 series and hope it helps Tongue

Yes Dinesh, I did order spares. I broke a linkage as of now. I also ordered spare batteries from HK as 1 battery is just not enough.
It took me quite some time to get  hang of flying, takes patience to trim and hover indoors, I used some homemade training gear for indoor flying. I would recommend learning it outdoors though.
Will post details soon in a New thread , Im sorry im hijacking the wanted thread.

Avatar is easy to fly and hover , but if you want something challenging and rewarding you need a 4ch FP Heli atleast

My Recent Buy ThunderTiger 1/10 SSK V2 Nitro Truck

Hi Gaurav,

Congrats, having a nice heli, I am also having same heli, and done modifications, very good for start but cant fly outside, it will fly with wind in open area.

For small mode you can purchase its different connector and battry, that Turnigy battry cost you less then 1$.

http://www.rcindia.org/for-sale/for-sale-nine-eagles-solo-pro-2-4-ghz-with-gryo-heli/msg84792/#msg84792

I am selling the same heli, check out its modification pic, and if you crash (hopfully not), you will break it blade holding plastic legs..
