Heli=Diff parts flying together in close formation

Hi all,

I am looking for a cooling fan for my accucell 6 charger. Let me know if someone has it or if some knows where can I find it locally in Delhi.

Yes , you can find it in delhi. Because a lot of SMPS are manufactured in delhi and these SMPS uses a very small fan < 80mm that is similar to the one used in Turnigy Accucel 6. Remove the fan from the charger and ask local electronic shops about it.

You can also check out ebay, im using one from there to cool my router.

Amit,
are you looking to replace the stock fan in Accucell or just an addon.

Since I power my Accucell from a SMPS, i generally keep the Accucell in front of the SMPS fan and it stays super cool.

Dont know if suits your purpose

Hi Girish,

Yes I am trying to find a replacement fan for it, however I have noticed that it doesn't get hot till I discharge a battery. But just Wanted to see if these are available locally.

The accucell 6 has a full metal body which acts a heatsink. When you are discharging a battery the energy of the cell is burnt off as heat. So it will get warm. But you need not worry about it as the charger was designed to do so. Just ensure that it is kept in a well ventilated place and the inbuilt fan is working.

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight Wink ... refrigerator Wink I will go with what trishit says...you could keep it in direct airflow and it should be okay.

I recently stress tested my Accucel 6. 3A continuous for 7hrs (was charging a 35Ah battery). Barely got warm. Ambient temperature was around 30C.
