I have Hitec 72 mhz tx module and rx which I use on my glow model, that gets flown once or twice a year. Otherwise all my electrics are on Frsky 2.4 ghz I'm loath to part with my 72 QPCM as it is so reliable. But a friend has an old Futaba with a removable 72mhz module (if i remember correctly) If you have an Frsky 2.4 module to exchange, I could check with him. Rx too would need to be exchanged. Btw, why do you want 72? Sorry, none of our old stuff matches your rqmts. Saw your PM. From what I could make out, you have an old Futaba Conquest 40mHz pcm tx and want to convert it to match 72mHz ppm rx (brand?) Not sure if it's worth the cost/effort/reliability. You can get a 2.4gHz tx/rx for about 2k. If you want to fly safely, get a new/near new 2.4, or atleast a matched 72 tx/rx. You can consider Mr Bajare's offers of 72mHz tx/rx, or Frsky 2.4 tx module/rx. If you want to experiment with old systems, Saikat sir may be the best guide... Best of luck whichever way you proceed.
