Vc sir unless youre getting into smd soldering why would you need one. The fine tipped electric ones work well for smaller parts and for soldering power ports like those on xt60 ones a 35/50 w big one is great...or do u plan to use it as a torch for mini boat parts

The butane gas can is avail for 80rs here.. same panwala as mentioned by sanjay sir or from a fancy store..

Girsh bhai this one I used for many other jobs than soldering.. the fire coming out will heat everything in a short time.. Smiley

yups i thought so, VC sir requires it for some other stuff. I use the brazing torch used by the AC guys for brazing but yes agree the soldering torch has tip suited for smaller joints.

just a warning ...be sure its original butane ...Chinese ones are sometimes mixed with lpg  can corrode the mechanism inside these butane torches
VC sir if u want go for the original dremel versa tip i bet nothing can beat that
 use original clipper butane for mine

Where do you get Clipper Butane from? The pan-wallas use LPG (a mixture of Propane/Butane)

nice awesome small gadget for field repairs. my electric iron was damaged so brought this one.

variable temperature, fast heating etc.  it is a soldering iron as well as a melting torch.

ordered on 8/6/13 received on 24/6/13

does not come with gas filled. must be filled from local pan-patti/ gift stores who stock fancy lighters

there only some troubling in lighting them up.  but once u get it its good.
