I was under the impression that cheerson cx 20 and quanum nova by hobbyking were same.But it seems they have some differences .Quanum Nova is said to have slight advantage over cx 20 .Is it true ? Any users here with any of these?

Both are identical 100% identical. Cheerson CX20 is the original item where as Quanum Nova is CX20 with different name.

But this site says quanum nova has provision for connecting usb outside and is the one which is compatible with APM that works with Arducopter/Mission Planner .
Also are there different versions for cx 20 ?

Cheerson CX20 (open version) = Qanum Nova.

open version uses the controller which is APM2.6 Pro but different connectors. You can use that with Mission planner and stuffs.

So if you are buying CX20 then go for open version not any other. Thumbs Up
