IN THRUST WE TRUST.....!!

control lines done with diesels will be really awesome....  getting hands on the line, handle, tank, and dielse plumbing will be the challenge

if u wanna look at models for CL... my suggestions will be as  follows...

peace-maker
Sr peace- maker
windson-H
small-wonder
blue-pants
countess
great-guns

and many more...
google any of the above along with Control line plan... and u may hit a jackpot

u cant use fishing lines for the line..and will have to get a handle done.. look for Control line handle for different designs...

Thanx a lot Vishvesh,

actually am trying to form an Aeromodelling club in my college, Roll Eyes  but the initial cost of the equipment drives the public away.....
So I thought electric control line would be an easy way to give people a hands-on experience of flying......
So, you see....I just can't use the diesel setup in-spite of it being exotic Sad....I need to stick to the electric setup due to cost conciderations

On a different note, can you answer a couple of queries that I have

what should be the size of an easy to fly CL trainer.....what 1/2A size means?
can I use mettalic fishing lader as the control wires?.......if yes, then what thickness?
and am planning to use speed 350 motor with direct drive or gear drive prop.....would it be sufficient?

regards
Bilal

contrary to what you may imagine - electric control line is quite expensive
if you want to get decent performance.

The main thing to remember in control line is that the engine/motor
should have enough power to overcome the line drag.

dont build 1/2a size if you are a beginner as you will find it too quick to control

a diesel engine - say 1.5 cc is the way to go for beginners.

and use braided ss wire for the lines
