Just a question. What is the size and specs of charger that you are looking at. The one I am using, looks something like the one shown in pic below is perfectly workable if you are looking to charge upto 3 cell battery. This one is not expensive and shall cost less than half your budget. The crocodile clips can be connected to the car battery poles and you're ready to go. Title: Re: Field charger.
