The jugaad builder

Hi ,

 I am looking for futaba connectors for a DIY nicad battery charger project I am doing. (yeah im old fashioned and am still stuck with my nicad packs)

Any help/pointers would be appreciated.

I have the housing and pins and can send you one made to whatever length you want. But these are the "universal" connectors and you will have to ensure correct polarity when connecting to the switch.

BTW NiCds are certainly better than NiMh. Unfortunately not easily available in higher current capacities.

thanks sushil. U mentioned universal type .. are these the J type connectors or the flat 3 pin types without a notch ? if J type , then ur my hero. I need both the female and male types.

They are the "flat 3 pin types" which is the J without the notch. Like I said, no problem, just need care while connecting. In any case you will not blow anything if reversed.

done ! I like beer as a form of currency any day Smiley

I think about 10 cms length would work for me. or you can just send me the connectors ( u know those end pins and plasticy things, i can kludge around for t he rest)
