I presume you mean a 120 4s which would equate to a 90 2s. If so, check out the Javelin 90 and Accipter at paylessflymore.com.
Pattern plane flyers are an endangered community. Grace is out, technique is in. Before the flak starts, let me clarify that I am not knocking anything. But I do miss seeing people fly with the fluidity of most, if not all, pattern manoeuvres.
Yes was looking for a 120-180 4 stroke size. I got the javellin 90 from paylessflymore a couple of years back, and recently got my Saito 1.25 on it. Even though the covering quality is so-so, and i had to replace nearly all hardware that came with it, i just love the flying qualities of the plane.
these days everyone seems to be talking about Yak, Extra and Edge. These are definitely great planes, but I just love the grace of patten planes , with a sleek profile and a long fuselage.
Ever since, i started flying, pattern airplanes, and flying attracted me. Somehow to me doing a hover does not hold as much of a charm as doing nice big (and accurate) loops or cuban eights with a pattern plane.
Accipiter looks like the one i will be going in for. But ideally would have got Swallow from CMPro
http://www.cmpairplane.com/aerobatic/Swallow.htmlOr something from CA models etc. but perhaps a distant dream with the import ban currently in place.
