Alright, after lots of scratch building and smashing and crashing my hard work. I've decided that its time to take a break and so I'm looking for an under Rs 5000 electric airplane kit(no electronics), would be better if it has 3D capabilities, so I can practice some precise 3D maneuvers with it. Ideally the Parkmaster would have been a good choice but then its beyond my budget considering the fact that I also have to spend on the Hotwire CNC cutter. Anyways so I want suggestions on what I should go for, how about a Techone Angel?  Head Scratching

Thanks Gusty Bhaiya, it sure is pretty impressive. But I was looking for something a bit big and most importantly something that I don't have to import from HK and then allow it to get dusted at the Kolkata Custom office.
Thank You once again though!
Any other suggestion, need help from you all?

BTW Rcbazaar is not opening in my comp??

Rohit,
If you need ARF, just look at RCBazaar Diwali Dhamaka.
But I think you are asking for the balsa body only without all electronics that you have already. Then Check grateplanes or Spads.

What is your expected AUW? and incl/exclude items ?

Your 330 watt motor with other electronics should fly 1.2kg+ SPAD also.

SPADs are most nondestructive one and if Props can be safeguard with guide, It will be on safer side. If you want to improve reflex, select smaller models and if Acrobatics is main criteria, select larger one. Foamy will be lighter for acrobatics, but need to strengthen with Tape. 5 Color take kept for you (Each color of white, red, blue, green, yellow, 2" thick roll), just collect it ringing me Tuesday onwards. Transparent omitted this time.

Thank You Kalyan Da, but I don't have a 330watt motor. I'm planning to use my 1500kv motors which are suitable for planes of AUW about 500gms or so and that is what I am looking at, something which is light, simple, easier to repair and can yet fly 3D.

Must be a 2S Battery for AUW 500gm.

http://www.rcindia.org/deals-and-special-offers/rcbazaar-special-diwali-offer-7096/

And, F4U Corsair will be suited good for Acrobatics.
Just Check,
ESC = 12A, let 8A x 7.4 Volt = 59.2 watt
59.2 * 0.75 / 0.22 = 201 gm
AUW of plane = 170 gm < 200 gm.

P51 models too..

But I doubt for it's lower aileron area though power is good for aerobatics.

But I recomend make EP300 with coro (Clone of your earlier).
Well known to you and good aerobatics. And with coro, empowered with bamboo reinforcement, landing gear will be grate.

well i own both piaget and angel.....let me tell u angel is one tough thing....go for it....good for funfly and 3D stuff....but just keep spare hinges ,, adhesive velcro.,,,.accelerator ,,medium and thin cyno.....assembling this bird is very much tricky and fun indeed ....i was easy for me as i had dealt with piaget earlier....but sadly piaget is no more in stock i was looking for one for myself...

Thanks Spitfire. No, Kalyan Da I guess a 3s 1000mah battery will do fine for an AUW 500g. My Extra 300 has an AUW 480g and I use a 3s 1000mah on it and Thank You for your suggestion, I was also thinking about that but then I decided to look something similar to a parkmaster, so that I can use the electronics that I have at home.

So, I've started assembling it. Kept it in my college Aeromodelling room. Alright, I wanted to ask something, I read it on one of the forums that CA's that aren't foam safe can also be used on this foam. Now, it seems quite contrary to my logical thinking thats why I've decided to use normal glue, but has anyone used Non-foam safe glue on it? Secondly, I'll be using 9g servos on it. It doesn't fit into the brackets as akky said but then I will just hot glue it in the slot. Have also ordered two servo extension wires, it is a must for this plane. Finally and the most important of them all, I want to know which motor to use with this plane, I have this http://rchobbyaddict.com/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=209&osCsid=8756de7abb3d79adbb5972ca250a954c and I'm thinking of using this with a 10inch prop. So those who have flown it please let me know whether this will work or not, I also have loads of CF2812 1534kv motors, may also use that, therefore please suggest me!
