MICROSTAR 2000




Hi guys

looking for new or used prop reamer or inserts for GWS type 8x6 orange electric prop to go with my prop saver (I.D = 5mm & O.D = 7mm)

Been using the handle end of a 1/2" flat bastard file as a prop reamer for years.
Hardly ideal, but a workable jugaad.
If the hole becomes too big, add heat shrink tube to the threaded shaft of spinner type adaptors.

I was planning to do something similar but was worried about hole becoming cross, wobble and balance of the prop.

Is the prop hole round or hexagonal?
Can you post a pic?
If i have a similar prop then i'll find the correct insert.
Amongst the inserts i have, found one 8mm x 6mm, and one 7mm x 5 mm.
If you pm me your address, i'll send through ordinary post.
