You can manage to set up an FPV kit in 5K to 6K, if sourcing of parts is done wisely,

Like, 200mW 5.8GHz Video Tx+Rx = 2400/-
       4.3" or 7" LCD : 600 to 1500
       Sony CCD camere  : ~1000

you can get these for the cheapest price from ebay.com

I have a 600mW 5.8Ghz Transmitter
and a 40Ch 5.8Ghz Receiver also, Which Two Separate set of Audio-Video Outputs
and a SONY CCD Camera sensor F1.8, along with a CMOS FPV camera also.
