http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/reptile-500-arf-kit-w-sunnysky-2212-motors/
This kit maybe, with a 6ch tx and rx, Lipo battery(2200mAh - 3500 mAh) and charger like imax b6.

Anything with GPS and lipo within 15k? And suggest me a radio

the fact of an ARF is u can always upgrade it. so if it doesn't fit your budget now u can always invest in one later on.. as far as radio's go... its a one time investment, so go for a good radio controller that has like 8+ channels as u are gonna step into a hobby and u are gonna keep upgrading the quad so if u want like a candy dropper or something like then u might want more channels than just 6 channels

See, with GPS, cost increases. If you can increase your budget then I recommend this --> http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/s500x-arf-kit-with-apm2-6/
With a good radio like -->
http://www.sp4mm3r.com/flysky-radio-india.html
Battery -->
http://rcmumbai.com/products/tattu-3300mah-4s-35c-lipo-battery-xt60/
Charger -->

If you want to upgrade to GPS later then you can stick to my previous suggestion(reptile kit). Its a good kit which will come in your budget. But including tx and rx(assuming around 6k), your funds are over. So I recommend increasing your budget. :)

I personally wouldn't recommend an ARF of any sort. I started with the Reptile 500 ARF as well and I ended up replacing every single part that came with it, except the frame itself. I got fake SunnySky motors (Satya sir says this has been rectified now), and so when I needed to replace the prop adapters, they would not fit and I had to buy a fresh set of motors. I replaced the FC with an APM 2.8 + NEO-7N after burning the kk (my fault). I replaced the ESCs when I got a chance to get a set of 32-bit ESCs for free to test. The new ESC made my quad perform A LOT better than they did before, so the included ESCs in the ARF are not very good either.

Instead of buying cheap at the beginning and spending more to upgrade everything (as I ended up doing), I suggest you buy good parts right at the beginning and save yourself future trouble. The best ARF option IMO is the S500X (http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/s500x-arf-kit-with-apm2-6/) at QK. However, the ESCs included appear to be the same 30A SimonK I got and honestly they don't perform very well and are way too big and heavy compared to modern ESCs. (4 modern miniquad ESCs weigh as much as one of these). I would buy these parts separately:
  • Frame- S500 is a good choice for AP as it makes mounting a gimbal later quite easy. I like deadcat frames like the TBS Discovery but then adding a gimbal is a little more difficult (you could 3D print the parts and make one yourself though)
  • Motors- SunnySky 2216 will give you plenty of thrust for when you need to lift heavier loads like a gimbal. Make sure you get original motors! There are many websites that tell you how to identify fakes. I went with the 2212 because I didn't know better at the time. My quad flies well on the 2212 as well but may be a little underpowered when I add the gimbal
  • ESC- There are countless options but I would buy any miniquad ESC like the DYS XM20/XM30A as they are small, light and perform very well.
  • FC- For GPS I would recommend the Pixhawk+ M8N GPS/ GLONASS module. APM may be cheaper but development for it has stopped and so the Hawk is more future-proof. You should be able to find Pixhawk sets with OSD, Power module, 433Mhz telemetry and the M8N for 150-200$ on eBay.
  • Radio- I suggest you buy the best radio you can possibly afford as this is the biggest investment in the hobby. The FrSky Taranis is the best in its class. 9x/ 9XR/ 9XR Pro + FrSky module are cheaper options.

No kits in your budget bro. As I said before, a normal motor-esc combo would cost you 6-7k + the flight controller for around 2k + the tx and rx for around 4-6k(basic tx like t6 or something could cost around 4k) + battery another 2k + other stuff like power distribution board and extras (considering 2k).
Now that adds upto 16k min.
OR
You can go for CT6B tx and change later as CT6B is just for around 3k.

EDIT - Added option for CT6B tx

Don't recommend going for a deadcat or a FS CT 6B.

Deadcats can have tuning issues because of their configuration, and it can be hell to tune for someone who hasn't done it before so I recommend going for a simple 450 symmetrical frame, and upgrading in the future if required.

The FS CT6B is a horrible radio for multirotors. They're fine for planes, but just bad for quads. I recommend spending a bit more and getting something better, I wish I had done so.

Go for RCB6i then. Its for 3.3k. That radio is worth it!

Post by: SK1701 on May 07, 2016, 01:13:19 PM
I don't think the RCB6i is that good for multirotors either. It was my first radio but I ended up selling it and upgrading to a 9XR. I definitely can't imagine flying my racer with the RCB6i! If you really want a cheap radio, I would recommend the FlySky I-6 instead.

My first frame was a Reptile 500 (deadcat) and I didn't have much trouble tuning it with either the kk 2.1 or APM that I am running now. YMMV of course.

@SK1701 If he wants to make a budget quadcopter then he has to compromise something. According to what I know the 9x is for 6-7k, which is high for a 15k budget.

Ya true I also had ct6b which gave me horrible range of about 400m so I upgraded it with orange lrs and with good antenna it gives range in kilometers

the RCB 6i is good for bigger mulitrotos as the bigger ones do not sway as much and hence your antenna's have a good gain... i would recommend it only for a budget radio and nothing apart from that and its not like you will be doing something more than 100 meteres as u wold loose sight of the quad, the flaw's of the FSCT6B in this case is that its very out of date and does not have digital trims... those trim knobs are just not pleasing... i have had a ct6b and a RCB6i and RCB6i is the way to go... but if u can spend a bit more go for the FS - i6 a quad can come for a bit over 10k and the radio for 4 (or 3), the only thing left is a battery and a charger ( the imax replica's seem like a good option).... i would say for a quadcopter you would have to spend 17k to get a decent quad, or 20-ish to get a high performing one...

If you want a kit with FC + GPS within your budget then this is the best deal: http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/450x-arf-kit-with-apm2-6/

If without GPS is okay with you then this is best deal: http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/arf-525-kit-with-kk-2-1-controller/

FYI: all the ARF kit with KK2.1 as FC would have flat INR 1000/- off very soon :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

@SK: About the motors that you have mentioned yes, when the kit arrived (the very first batch) motors were fake but then after that all the kit coming with SunnySky motors are 100% original, and i guarantee this.
About the ESC: They are good for they do, yes they are bulky but they have BEC in it. Now a days most of the ESC are opto and comes with better controller. Hence expensive. So when we get the kit we have to keep check on pricing too.

I strongly/highly/strictly would not recommend from buying outside India. Now its a high chance of getting stuck in customs.
