Title: Need a Class in Aero modelling have some doubts
Post by: agent47 on May 17, 2015, 01:44:42 PM
Hello Guys!!

I am trying to get into this hobby since ages but could not able to get into it completely. I have viewed several videos on internet gone through several forums and tried at least two three plane building. But I am not able to made it to fly for any reason I am unaware of sometimes its center of gravity some time the prop size is large and sometimes I could not able to figure.

So I want someone who can teach me and help me to get into this hobby specifically in Delhi/NCR.  I am ready to pay that person nominal amount agreed mutually. I need two three sessions of doubt clearing and help to repair and troubleshoot my existing models with some flying training.

If you are aware of any institute name or course which can teach me basics of aero modelling then please help. If you have a complete video course link then also please share.

Interested People can PM me.

Thanks!

The day I start taking money to help a newcomer, or start looking at a profit angle in aeromodelling will be a very sad day for me.

I am always ready to help a newcomer, all I ask is he should be motivated.

Believe me, I have helped many, given them much of my time and a load of freebies, and then they simply vanish. The models (some new) I gifted them to keep their interest going are gathering dust on their walls  >:(

sanjay sir , I am very serious about this hobby and this is the one thing which I want to teach to my kid which he could proudly cherish for his life. Though he is very small right now just 9 months old and I am trying everything which I could. I have joined this forum in 2011 and its 4 years now , I have learned lot of things from here but somehow still I am not able to make 100 percent self build plane. I have a zest to learn but not getting guidance from anywhere. I dont want to mention name of some people who thinks totally different and have asked me huge sum of money for training purpose and misguided me in 2012. Thats a different story that I have not opted them as so called personal trainers.

If you can help me I will be grateful to you my whole life.

Dear Sanjay,                                                                                                                                                                                Where is the like button when you need one!! If the field at IFFCO chowk is a decent sized space I will join you guys one saturday once I get my small electric plane going. (This is your friend Nishad from the Bhondsi field).

Hey Nishad! We will be delighted (and a bit intimidated) to have a super expert flier!

Thanks for the compliment Sanjay but you are being way too kind! Do you fly your nitros at the IFFCO chowk field? I have a .40-.60 sized sopwith pup (60 inch ws) that I am in the process of resurrecting (I had built it about 15 years ago and it has been sitting since 2011 so it needed some tlc). It would be nice to have a field close by to fly the small stuff.

Nishad, it's not at all advisable. There are too many people around, cricketers, learning drivers et al. Park size electrics are the maximum. Or a .049 Cox ;)

ok, thanks. Will bring my 55" electric powered extra - used to fly it in a park all the time.
