Have a Solo Star 58"span. Bought 5 year old model 2 years ago, without engine. Mounted my Super Tigre 40 ringed, bought in England April 1996, never taken out of box till this model. Run about 1 litre of fuel, about 10 short flights. Original box, manual etc. Runs fine on 2% nitro. Mid range transition sorted out. One flick start every time. Four Futaba servos fitted. AUW about 2.5kg. Flies just fine, incl loops, rolls and inverted. Tx, Rx, Rx battery not included. Engine included, but can offer without engine too. Pics and videos here and there on this forum and on youtube. Can locate and email if interested. Reason for offer: Have 11 models flying (10 electric) but main Tx has only 8 model memory. Also still haven't build my Goldberg Anniversary Piper Cub, bought in 1996 with the Super Tigre. Yet to fire up new OS 46, 25, 10 and a second hand OS Pet. Need to clear some, like sanjayrai55 on this forum. Am not a vendor. Please pm an offer if interested. I know you want a larger model... Model is really nice. I would be more interested in the cub if it is in mint running condition. Please send me pics of the cub and quote me a price for PNP version of it. It's not mint. it's still in the original box, Solarfilm, spare prop, plugs and all! On the last day of my last visit to London, my wife said "All your life you've wanted a Cub. Buy it now or you'll never get another chance!" (No Hobby King in 1996!) Thought i'll build it one day before i retire. That date has since passed, but hope to build it before next (final) retirement. OS 46 waits... Perhaps you may like the Tiger Moth (retirement gift from office last year). BTW, there's a guy here who makes and sells. Will check if he has a 46-55 size model ready. Usually has OS 46-55 in stock. If he has one PNP ready, will put you in touch directly. It was ordered 3yrs back in us via ebay with load of extra balsa but couldn't shipped to india. :banghead: Had to resell it. |
