@ Abhay - My present charger is 4$ thing from ebay. It is good and it charges batteries properly and balanced. I used to charge the laptop battery (its Li ion 3 cell) there was nothing wrong and I used to charge it regularly, but this time I left it on for quite some time and the charger became too hot. It still works but don't want to take chances with my batteries ( 3 of them and each >4$ !!! ) A) also at times ( since i crash more than i fly) could not drain the battery and had to use a headlight bulb to bring down the voltage to storage level. B) every time i charged i had to use multi-meter to see each cell voltage So finally .... thought to give some money and lay off some worries. Abhay hope this justifies me buying a new/ 2nd hand charger. ;) Though we have not spoken to each other personally but i know about your RCing through Bilal. :thumbsup: And do maiden Bilals plane soon I am curious to know how well it flies. this can be my case as well, but i think i am improving.. saurabh, actually i thought that if you have your charger burnt, you could help me with some components. I have 2 burnt chargers, i am lacking a component to reapair one i can. Regarding the maiden of Bilal's plane, even i m curious to do so.. Time and materials do not permit. :banghead: :banghead: Both of us's ESC are Blown off and we are lacking a decent charger. Its my last year and my final submissions are going on. It will go on for 4 more months, but i am sure i can steal a day in next week's schedule for the maiden of bilal's bird as well as my grasshopper. which are the chargers you have ??? mine is a small one 2-3 cell charger ith external supply 2 leds NO LCD. which part u are looking for ? Kalyan can help (not sure though) |
