ASKING is easier than SEARCHING

@taksh
In your PM you asked me
“Balsa is necessary for 30 seconds minute HLG?”

No. Not necessary.
Depron, glass fibre and carbon fibre are equally suitable.
Balsa is probably the cheapest and easiest to work with.
And probably easier to get than light glass fibre and thin epoxy finishing resin.

@taksh
Pl indicate size and quantity of balsa that you need.
Usual size is 10cm x 100cm, ie, 4”x40”, or 3” x 36”

taksh,
Always search the materials where it is used, alternatively. Balsa is used in architecture modeling.
So search in stores, in front of engg. college, where architecture is studied... surely you get it cheaper.
It is also used in boats...

@taksh,
I need to buy balsa for HLG but i don't know about thickness.
2mm balsa will work? I want to throw plane using wings

1.5mm or 2mm is ok for 9-12” span wing, or 3mm for ~15”.
Same sheet can be sanded down to about 1-1.5mm thickness for tailplane and fin.
2-3 layers can be joined to get 5-6mm thickness for fuselage.
