I will wait for your feed back, as I wanted to order from him.

You can try a size suitable for you and make a foam inner, your self by cutting radio profile in it.

yes, i will ask him if he can provide the blank cases too, which meet our requirement in dimensions in case he doesn't have the readymade in stock or can't order them just for us.

it seems to be costly as without shipping it's around 2100 and after shipping it will be more, we can get the aluminum for less including shipping in India itself. what do you think?

I use this, Bought it from a dep store for  :Rs:200.00 or so, Padded and insulated from inside, probabbly ment from carry lunch boxes. Serving well for carrying radio locally.

I would not recommend soft case bags for radio as they might not protect the Sticks. Get even Plastic hard case. Even I am using my Tamrac Camera bag with great caution, till RCD re-stocks the Alu boxes!

I agree with you Ujjwaana, But

1. Something is better than Nothing

2. We can use some foam inside the soft case cut into radio profile, same as in Aluminum case. But if we want to carry Radio when traveling, Aluminum or hard case is best option.

Please refer to links posted my me above for other options for carry cases.

Waiting for some replies

I had talk with JK Enterprise, but they don't keep it or not have foam based cases. It's pure for tools only :(

but Rotor.co.in have it in the stock.

Not having foam based cases is not a problem. We can just take some high density foam from the market and cut it in the desired shape for the Tx. But do they have the aluminium cases in stock or not? If yes then what are the dimensions?

i asked for the empty one also, but they don't have it ready. Also they are near by same range of what we getting on rotor.co.in so its better to take from rotor as it has foam pre-installed.

i had again talk with JK Ent. and he will get back to me on Monday with the possibilities of same product like on Rotor along with the cost. Will keep you all posted with updated. Also, if possible can you please let me know how many wanted to go for it if he gives good price? as it was his next question :)

If the price is right which should be about  :Rs: 1250 for a case which can hold 2 Tx's, I would like 1. Lowes in the Us carries an aluminium tool case with precut foam and sells it for about $20. So about the same price. I can also represent 2 of my flying buddies who would want a single Tx case each. So that makes it 3 (1 Double and 2 Single)

The aluminium case is available at rotor.co.in

@flying doc - i don't think we will get it for 1250 (still we may have luck). Also, in US also anywhere in general, aluminum case are no lower than $35 + shipping. The average pricing in India or overseas doesn't have much difference other than availability issue.

Also the 1 or 2 Tx's case size is same only, the only difference is that in 1 Tx case, you can keep the accessories/servos etc. while in 2 Tx case you can keep only 2 Tx, no accessory with it.

The case is here also http://www.beyondtoyz.in/Accessories/Aluminium-Radio-Case.html other than rotor.co.in but costly and shipping also more.

Lets see what JK Ent. says on Monday/Tuesday, else shall order from Rotor only, as they have reasonable price and economical shipping of it, as compare to other LHS at present.

regarding inner padding we can use eps/epp/felt/mattress foam/thermocole fully covered with clear tape(tape increases toughness of thermocole to some extent)...correct me if I am wrong...
