Hey Everyone!

I am working on a DIY Tx-Rx project and need extra joysticks. If any one has old non-working radios or spare joysticks, I'd like to buy them.

The radio system I'm working on will be really low cost with loads of channels and good range. It will be a great help if someone can spare their old joysticks!

i think i have one old radio and rx from a toy heli (for free) and one of my friend has a micro quad radio and board which include the rx (need to ask him if he is interested in giving it away ).

btw what type of joystick are you looking for ?

I need joysticks like the one posted by Gunnu below. The ones online are expensive and I need a lot of them as I'm trying to get a direct digital output from the sticks (as opposed to the stock analog output from the pots).

but the above link gimbal  is analog ,and the radio which i have mentioned has similar but small in size gimabals

I need analog joysticks only. I'm going to replace the pots with some self-made components to get a direct digital output. I need a lot of gimbals as this involves trial and error.

In traditional radio systems:
1) Analog signals from sticks are converted to PPM at Tx.
2) All channels are transmitted every time.
3) At Rx the PPM stream is again split to give individual channels.

This is good enough for models without flight controllers. But with everyone using flight-controllers now, a lot of time can be saved between moving control sticks and desired output (i.e improved latency).
 
I'm trying to reduce processing time by:
1) Removing the need for analog to digital conversion at the Tx.
2) Transmitting only those channels that have been changed by the user at a particular instant.
3) Transmitting digital values so that the flight controller doesn't have to do PPM to digital conversion.

This system will have at least 20 channels. The first prototype will have 3 sets of gimbals, a seperate high resolution stick for precise throttle control and telemetry support. Also the user will be able to control the secondary channels with a smart-phone (via Bluetooth or OTG).

It's an ambitious project and all suggestions and hardware donations are welcome!

I just need the gimbals guys, even if they are from a simulator.
