I am not understanding y you are reaching 70% throttle while testing..? I was suggesting you to use prop savers while testing... there are chances to get small crashes that time.. we can avoid the prop and shaft damages at that time..
And popping of thevo ring never happened To me till now... The other alternative ' screw fit ' item where the the prop is fixed by fixing it to the screws via a rubber like holder - PropSaver I noticed u didnt have these in your site ...
